Pregnancy

Prepare your body in the best possible way for the challenge of labour and the beauty of birth. Class includes flexibility and strength work, pelvic floor training, relaxation and educational components to assist you through pregnancy, labour and beyond.

Our classes are taught by highly experienced Women’s Health Physiotherapists and are suitable for those ladies experiencing pelvic girdle/ back pain in pregnancy.

Postnatal

Ready to embark on your postnatal recovery – our postnatal classes have it all.

In these classes we will focus on:

Menopause Movement

This is a much needed class for women in their 40s/50s/60s/70s. The class incorporates 3 core segments – Education, Exercise and relaxation. In this class you will learn all about the importance of the Pelvic floor and how we can improve our pelvic health as we age but also to understand the impact of hormonal change on our body.

Pelvic Floor Core Restore

This class has been specifically designed to go deeper into pelvic floor and core strengthening. Ideal for those women postnatally or for those women who feel they are “further down the line” but want to or “need to” start looking after their pelvic health.

A great class to work on the deeper connections from within and to build the necessary solid foundations.

Gentle Movers

This slow paced , light impact Pilates class is designed specifically for individuals with mobility issues. The class will incorporate modified Pilates movements with chair based exercises in order to achieve individual goals at a safe and manageable level.
Suitable for men and women of all ages.

Finding Strength in balance
Perfecting stability and confidence with every move under the guidance of an experienced Physiotherapist.
Each Station has been meticulously planned with regressions and progressions to help achieve each client’s goal.

Pilates for Men

Do you feel stiff? Achey? Sore?
Have a grumbly back? Niggly shoulder? Tight hips?
DO you feel “too young” to feel “this old”
Could your body be in a better condition?

This class will focus on mobility and posture and will help the “Stiff” man become more flexible and ache free. Deep level core will be activated in order to adopt a long-term outcome approach.

Back pain can be very debilitating affecting not only your physical health but your mental and emotional well being. As experienced Physiotherapists we are ideally placed in our Pilates classes to guide you on your rehab journey, regress/progress exercises according to your needs and give you the confidence to take back control.
